Spend an hour with Terry Rafih, the owner of Windsor and Essex County’s largest network of auto dealerships, and it isn’t hard to believe the story of how he got into the business.

He was completing the second year of the University of Windsor’s business program in 1985 when he walked into Bill Howitt Pontiac Buick on Tecumseh Road East looking for a car.

He was convinced to return to apply for a job.
