Keiko Matsuiis a Japanese smooth jazz/jazz fusion/new age/ keyboardist and composer whose career spans three decades, during which time she has released twenty CDs (in addition to various compilations) and has received international acclaim.

Her mother taught traditional Japanese dance, and her husband plays the shakuhachi flute and has established his own music career. Matsui, who began playing piano and composing music at a very young age, has developed her own multicultural style that has touched the hearts of fans across the world.
Born Keiko Doi on July 26, 1963, in Tokyo, Japan, Matsui began taking piano lessons when she was just five years old.
From there, she attended the Yamaha Music Foundation in Japan. She composed her first pieces of music when she was in junior high school. At the age of 17, the Yamaha Music Foundation gave her
