Former Emir of Kano

Mal Aminu Ado Bayero(Listen^ⓘ), CFR (born 21 August ) is the Former Emir of Kano having served as the 15th Fulani Emir of Kano from the FulaniSullubawa clan.^[1] He ascended the throne on 9 March , following the deposition of his nephew Muhammad Sanusi II by GovernorDr.

Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.^[2] He was deposed as emir in after the Emirates law that had divided Kano into five Emirates was repealed. He is the chancellor of the University of Calabar.^[3][4]
